Township Trustee

Since 2002, Paul Hempel has been a resident of Carol Stream with his wife, Gayle. In 1994, He graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in accounting and economics. Paul knows the necessity of living within one’s means and believes it should especially apply to government. Even though Wayne Township levies the least of any of our taxing authorities, he will ensure that the tax dollars entrusted to the township are managed responsibly and executed to their fullest potential.

As a Township Trustee, Paul will utilize his experience to generate more value for all residents. He will work to foster relationships with public and private entities to bring more resources to the multitude of programs that the township offers to the community. A primary focus will be on raising more awareness of the services offered. These services and programs benefit hundreds of families across the many communities within Wayne Township.
